Listen you dumb fuck. Almost any UC school has way hotter chicks. WSU is a decent party school, but visit UC Santa Barbara and your dumbass would see WSU sucks compared to it. No. Does UC SB athletics have anyone that gives a shit about it? Relatively, no. Does it have the funding WSU has? No. The facilities? No. The national recognition? Not likely.
It's apples to oranges. Maybe in 50 years the mediocre UC and Cal State schools will get on WSU's level, but it isn't likely.

Oranges is right about wazzu go look at their new facilities and what they are doing to stay competitive in the pac. To say they don't even belong in the same conference as UW when our dumbasses can't keep a fucking 18 point lead on them or blow them out in our building after such a meltdown is doogFS.
They'll battle with OSU to be a 2nd tier bowl team, as HNMT has said in a different thread. -
They are getting a lot of the money from the new TV deals and revenue sharing. That's how they afford Leach's salary too. It's too late to boot them, but I don't get why they were added instead of Nevada or SDSU. Those schools could easily be WSU if they were granted access instead. The 18 point lead has nothing to do any of this. That's a single game. You can't use that, but not use their home loss to Embree and Colorado.
Oregon State doesn't really belong either IMO, for many of the same reasons, but at least they have fielded decent teams under Riley. I certainly agree that the WSU program is in much better shape with Leach. Nobody would argue otherwise.

Fair point, I'm not going to defend that game. Wazzu's struggles in general is what you get when you hire a fucking moron that just so happens to be an alum. They're lower tier teams that obviously need a good coach to do anything. Most of my buddies are coogs and my girlfriend's parents are beavers season ticket holders, so I've had to watch both of those teams in person a lot the past couple seasons.
