Does anybody actually know why Trump was impeached over it? It’s been shown since his speech, which was fine by the way, that days in advance some people were going to storm the Capitol. -

Re Trump and impeachment, I agree. You can reasonably argue that Trump, and the pro-Trump "news" outlets that cater to him, fire up a sector of our society that seemed quite well represented in the siege. That's hard to deny. But the siege on the capital looks like it was mostly driven by pro-election fraud nutties, with some of the usual band of trouble makers from the now loosely identified antifa/blm crowd who will jump on any civil unrest to do what they like to do. Break shit and whoop it up. And I'm sure there were a few crazy nutty righties at every summer of love shit fest as well.
The planning and coordination efforts for this one, however, appears to have come from among several organized groups from the alt-right who were there with stupid af fantasies of making history and stopping the electoral college vote.

Who was fired up? No where near as fired up as BLM/Antifa which were encouraged by the top dem leaders in Congress, Governors and Mayors. Same "leaders" then illegally changed the voting rules to encourage as much voter fraud as they could. There was no intent to have a fair election. Match voting signatures to registered voters? Nope. Count votes postmarked after election day? Yep. Send monitors home and then continue to count? Yep. Require voter ID? Nope. Require proof of citizenship? Nope. Check voter rolls for dead people and multiple registrations among the states? Nope. Require and auditable voting system? Nope. But geezus, don't complain about voting fraud.
