He'd probably be pretty good. He's a good spokesman for West Coast football and knows the schools. But I don't see how the CEO board is going to hire a guy who got fired for breaking NCAA compliance rules as the league commissioner.
Also, still kind of a wild card. But he'd be good with the media and all that stuff. -
Agree it's never going to happen. Which is why it should.Kingdome_Urinals said:He'd probably be pretty good. He's a good spokesman for West Coast football and knows the schools. A lot of league commissioners gamble on the Final Four. Quite common really. Most have a bracket in the desk drawer

Yeah. I could probably get behind this. One of the few CFB coaches who isn't a meathead jock and actually has the corporate chops to negotiate like an adult. Also has a pretty strong fondness for UW* and that never hurts.
*Early 2000s upper campus ivory tower AD notwithstanding, but even today he talks about memories of UW stadium and the greater Seattle area with incredible nostalgia. -
UW was and is and could be a great place to coach. Rick was still in the shadow of James and had Pup and his crew out for blood about Lambo. Fans cared a lot more

I’m too lazy to research didnt the SEC drop CBS? Maybe Rick is ready to move from CBS
