They should have been smart and switched to cash, credit cards, and prepaid debit cards while this was going on. Sucks they lost their money, but they should have been smarter.

Trust me. It’s a very bad day in your life when this happens.
And then it gets worse.
But, eventually the sun rises, you dust yourself off and jump back in. He’ll be alright -
He could have taken a small PPP loan. And under the new guidelines could have waived it even without paying employees as long as he took under $150k. That could have more than paid rent for the next 3 years.

Whats to stop them from yanking the Small PPP Loan, too?

He could have taken that at the beginning of the shut down. He never needed to stay open in the first place. He can do what he wants. Had he taken the $150k, he could have closed his doors and not reopen. He’d still have money in the bank plus a cool $150k minus rent and utility expenses. No one knew the government would have waived that requirement for small loans at the time, but a smart business man would have taken the money anyway. Worst case scenario, he would just have to pay back the payroll portion.doogie said:Whats to stop them from yanking the Small PPP Loan, too?

He should try pulling himself up by his bootstraps and cut back on the lattes.

No one can be a victim of the government
Just a victim of everything else -
This is the most pathetic of all the millennial jokes. But boomers do suck.TheKobeStopper said:He should try pulling himself up by his bootstraps and cut back on the lattes.
