Do you have any fucking idea how many pictures I’ve seen over the years with tourists getting a tour of the capitol with the local congressman. Hundreds. Literally hundreds. If you have any connections, it’s not that tough. Free Pub for the congressman via Facebook.

The building is filled with security cameras. If true they will have evidence of select individuals being led around, or not, and be able to question members of Congress in that light.

Totally agree. If the people who breached the Capitol were given tours by GOP members, it’s a major scoop and a huge red flag. TIL that I was on a Recon mission in 2000 when Gordon Smith gave our group there for the Bush inauguration a tour a few days prior to it.
