First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

"First they came ..." is the poetic form of a post-war confessional prose by the German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984). It is about the cowardice of German intellectuals and certain clergy—including, by his own admission, Niemöller himself—following the Nazis' rise to power and subsequent incremental purging of their chosen targets, group after group. Many variations and adaptations in the spirit of the original have been published in the English language. It deals with themes of persecution, guilt, repentance, and personal responsibility.

Confirmation Bias: @TheKobeStopper is a coward.

I don’t know what point you think you’re making.

The left and the establishment are taking us? down an extremely dangerous and slippery slope of sensorship. History is repeating itself.

Yore either extremely dumb and naive, or a coward. I've never thought you are dumb.

    Hope this helps.

You are the “they” in that poem.

And it’s certainly not about being banned from twitter.

    Nice try.

    Hondo-esque effort.

    Get some rest.

    Try again later.

    Or don't.

The point is that ignorant, naive people that believe that giving the ultimate authority and expecting reliance on the Federal Government are the current problem in our Society.

They either ignore or reject the past history of its outcomes and keep trudging on with it because they hate Trump and believe the lying leaders that they worship of how great it’s gonna be.
We’re not ignoring or rejecting history. History is why we are so afraid of you.

It would be nice to know what history you are referring to. Please, be specific.

In a shocking development, the pigeon took yet another dump and then flew away.

Why are we not Hondo’ing him? I feel we owe it to him.
