Yes and no...he had a ton of warts, but he was basically a half-traditional Democrat running as a pro-America Republican. I think it shows more than anything else that electing an outsider to fix things won’t work because the idiots “elites“ in DC won’t let them, so we have to either wait for it to happen from within (won’t) or wait for a huge reset that will blow things up enough for it to happen (I.e a war or depression). Which would take a while, but with the rate the Central Banks are printing money not be as far out as one would think.
In the meantime we get to live in a Banana Republic. -
