This reeks of Sam Huard starting in 2021
-
I am sure Jon don will talk him out of it. We are set to have 2 qb’s on scholarship next year?backthepack said:This reeks of Sam Huard starting in 2021
Given what has happened at Arizona I wonder if Millen would be interested in a grey shirt. -
JFC, recruiting QBs and keeping a QB depth chart has to be fucking maddening these days. Invariably they seem completely unable to analyze their situation and repeatedly LEAVE. Imagine spending years being recruited, but you can't make it halfway through a redshirt year of school.GrundleStiltzkin said:
Hysterical. We all get that it's a system of hired guns, so the senior grad transfers to successful programs make sense, but many of these kids transferring haven't actually accomplished anything.
I guess he could come back, so whatever, but either way I find it tough to give a shit.
-
Seriously? Forget sophomores and juniors, now you transfer out if you don't start as a true freshman? JFC.
-
If that happens, we will be down to 1 scholarship qb. No way Morris sticks around if Huard wins the starting spotbackthepack said:This reeks of Sam Huard starting in 2021

Luckily, we just got a Pwoof commit from a dual-thread OLB/QB. Bleeds gold, shits purple, can throw in a pinch. Everything's fine. Nothing to see here.bananasnblondes said:

Ethan gotta give it at least one more year lmao this year doesn’t count against eligibility otherwise you soft and don’t want to compete
-
This makes sense, he needed to win the job this year or pray whoever did shit the bed.
Morris would be entrenched as starter if his deep balls connected, even Sam is going to have a hard time supplanting him.
Garber's got a freebie and knows he won't get a shake. -
Good riddance. We got what we needed out of him by getting Redman to commit. Special Ed Ethan can fuck off. -
-
Morris will be a freshman next season. It’s both guys.backthepack said:This reeks of Sam Huard starting in 2021

Our QB room has a lot of stink to it. Soft, bitch-ass “leaders” with mediocre coaching. That’s why so many are quick to crown Morris around here.
-
Harsin gonna bring Bush as OC and Bobby G as DC.
Watch out for Auburn -
FTR I actually think Garbers will be good and has higher upside than Morris.
Morris displayed the intangible shit that 90% of all QBs lack (regardless of ranking, hence so many busts).
Exceptional feel in the pocket -DOESN'T TAKE SACKS AND KILL DRIVES
Clutch on 3rd down - KEEPS DRIVES ALIVE
Clutch in 2 minute - WINS GAMES
Teammates love him- MAKES TEAM BETTER
Doesn't turn ball over- DOESN'T KILL HIMSELF IN THE FOOT
You have a guy checking the boxes on things you can't teach.
Maybe Garbers has it too(against the odds), plus a better deep ball, but he's not getting a chance to prove it at Washington.
