I just looked it up, and my memory was a little off. It was apparently during the third quarter, not the fourth quarter.

I'm struggling to think of a more dumbfuck on-field decision by a D1 football player, which is saying something because as a cohort they are not very bright.

JFC if he were my teammate it would be hard for me to cover for him ... or even talk to him at this point. I guess this is what you pay coaches to handle. He's a good player so Mullen can't destroy him, but H-O-L-Y fuck that was incredibly dumb. It's just an inability to control yourself, which of course directly relates to impulsivity and dumbfucktardery.
    Rico Tipton, 1984. Amirite @creepycoug?
Talk to me Stalin. Who is this Rico person? The only Rico in my life heretofore is Rico Suave.
1984 Apple Cup in Martin Stadium. Orange Bowl representatives are in attendance to scout the 9-1 Huskies. Cougs were leading halfway through the fourth quarter. They stopped Washington on a 3rd and 16 (if my memory serves me right). But way after the play was over, Coug linebacker Rico Tipton suddenly blasts Jacque Robinson to the turf on the sideline, causing a 15-yard penalty and automatic first down. Huskies went on to score a TD and win 38-29.
Kevin Gogan bit Tipton in the pile.

As bad as Miami was today, #3 from Florida gets the Retard of the Day award. They hold LSU out of FG range on 3rd down and #3 throws the kids shoe downfield. Like, nah, there's no unsportsmanlike conduct for that right coach? JFC I wonder what his IQ is.

LSU kicks the FG from 57 yds out (don't ya think 15 yards mattered at this point?) and Florida runs out of time to respond, just missing a 50+ FG to tie it back up. That kid doesn't do that, and it stays tied and FL has all kinds of time to march down the field for the winning score.

    What a dumbfuck.

Miami giving up over 500 yards on the ground was worse.

Not sure they are comparable, but ok!
