Washington requested a waiver to play with fewer than 53 against Stanford. They had 37 scholarship players play in that game, if the participation report is accurate. So, Jimmy wanted to play - he’s not a coward. He’s just sloppy, his support staff and players failed the program. Oregon had some players as both offensive and defensive linemen on the preseason chart they submitted to the conference, just in case. And everyone thinking Cale Millen was a bust who got beat out by freshmen just didn’t know that 2020 required secluding him like Howard Hughes to keep one eligible QB.
