Man this year is quite possibly a bigger shitshow than 2008. The program was on a knifes edge and stepped off the wrong side.
It's going to be fun watching Lake compete with (and some times lose to) Colorado, Cal, Utah and ASU for recruits and supremacy over the middle of the conference. -

I think I need to stop following recruiting for awhile. The Petersen years made it fun again and more highs then lows. This year has a been a total kick to the junk. We aren't getting JT either. Out of the 2, I thought EE was the one we had a shot at.
We are seriously going to lose two of the best football players this state has ever produced to tOSU IN THE SAME FUCKING YEAR!

But the reality also is that if you are an ELITE player on the West Coast there is a giant perception that you can’t play in the biggest games and for national championships on the West Coast. If you aren’t the SEC, Clemson, or Ohio St good fucking luck. And this isn’t a unique problem to UW ... it’s happening to the entire West Coast footprint.
Until the P12/UW is able to clean up their act and put themselves on far more equal footing this type of shit with ELITE recruits leaving the West Coast is going to continue. -

With a staff that can recruit and an offense that is attractive Egbuka is a dawg. Those other things are factors but they were could have been overcome.
Truth is Jimmy lost Egbuka the day he hired John Donovan. -

I blame CP for fostering a terrible offense for so long. And Jimmy for not taking any proactive steps to improve the program.
