I get the intent of Lake is Lambright until he isn’t, but let’s be crystal fucking clear:
Jim Lambright was a GOOD defensive coordinator. With like, accomplishments. Jimmy Lake? Meh. K was the coordinator who was actually good.
Also, there is an implication that Chris Petersen = Don James. Chris Petersen is no Don James. -

Wasn’t there, but am aware Don James pressured Lambright to change the defense. Lambright’s defenses were so shitty without James that I can’t buy he was a good DC. I’ll still take Lake and the ceiling is way higher with Lake as well.
