Something undervalued by all you America haters is America’s role in propping up the western world.
American democratic elections are the most valuable event in the world because they set the control of the world economy’s future in the hands of 330m people. When I lived in Sweden they followed US domestic news more than their own because they know how important it is for Europe.

Paul knows his argument is bullshit. For weeks Trump railed against mail-in ballots and after 4 years his supporters haven’t figured out that he’s a blithering idiot so they voted in-person. Those who know he’s a moron we’re more likely to vote by mail. Simple cause and effect. Again Paul knows this but Republicans will use this to energize the base for the next few years which is a smart strategy.

Mail in ballots do a great job of making it easy for the lazy, uninformed voter to effect an election for the rest of us.
They also make it easy for bad actors to commit huge amounts of fraud. 80 year olds in N Dakota had no problem getting their asses to the poles on ED during a pandemic to make their voices heard, but we need to make the process more accessible to the 20-something suburban girl who lives with her parents and spends all of her time trying to follow the woke trend on Instagram?
