The Pac-12 is getting blasted from coast to coast for its handling of the hopes and dreams of football players, delaying while other leagues played, then allowing play as cold weather approached at the height of COVID-19 and infections were raging across America.
He’s right, on the we do love to get blasted part at least. Coast to coast, cheek to cheek!
I’m not sure that cold weather is the issue here. Does the Coronavirus, like the Coronabeer, do better when it’s cold? Is it too cold in the Pac-12 to play football several weeks past the usual end of the season? And Utah people have no business giving corona lectures. These dumb fucks are virus central. Their fat ass coach even said they’ve had their own virus problems and they just don’t discuss it. It’s a fucking virus buddy, not your one child that got into heroin. It spreads to other people, you may want to warn Directional State U before you play them.
Oregon stood No. 9 behind BYU, trying to use a 3-0 record, with wins over 0-2 Stanford, 1-1 Washington State and 1-2 UCLA to claw its Duck Nike money higher in the rankings.
Maybe they are not so different, these soberer cuogs. I have it on good authority that both Rob Mullens and Mike Bohn reached out to BYU a few days before Washington to see if they wanted to be on standby in case either had an open date. There was no mutual interest. Why would BYU risk a Fiesta or Cotton Bowl? Now they might not even be ranked high enough to be an at large, and that would just be perfect. Imagine if you’re Oregon or Washington and you get a Fiesta Bowl bid and instead of getting Oklahoma or some name brand opponent people care about they give you those armpit fuckers.
Props to Washington for leaking this. BYU fans have been overestimating the Pac-12 so much. There’s no devious plan to discredit them. They don’t realize the Pac-12 is too dumb to promote their own, let alone attack others. The Pac-12 is like kids who wear their house key on a string around their neck; it’s a miracle they make it home and the parents are slightly disappointed when they do.
