Well besides the obvious [running good routes and actually catching the ball], that is definitely how you get the pros looking at you, and that is exactly what Kearse is going to tell the receivers.

I would rather they ran good routes, get open, have sure hands, and make plays but that’s just me. Reminds me of when Gilby didn't play Charles Frederick as much as some fans wanted and Gilby explained it was because Frederick needed to improve his blocking skills and a bunch of posters responded that it isn't a receiver's job to block. Some of those posters are even this board but they won't admit they said that.
