The Offense

First off, it was not good. It is pretty clear that Morris was not who they wanted to start. Thomson was probably the guy.. either way this is not the attacking offense that lake thinks it is.

If they think morris is the best we have, they are beyond fucked.

Did Morris run backwards twenty yards while shitting his pants? No? Then he was fine. If Bynum catches the pass on the first drive, Puka catches the ball on third down and Jones high points the pass in the end zone then Morris doesn’t seem so meh. The batted passes at the line are what concern me most. He’s short and throws at a three quarter angle. Lineman jumping up and batting down passes will happen all year.

In pouring rain Morris did not make any mistakes and he threw some of his best passes on third and long for conversions.

He should have had a TD pass to Ty Jones, and Odunze also almost had one but the defender made a great play.

No ints, no sacks, as others have mentioned the big concern is the batted passes.

I want to see what he looks like in a game played at a normal hour of the day and not in a downpour.
