She will cost Dems more Congressional seats in 2022 than anyone ever. Will make 2010 look like a sandbox.

    Sounds like Trump IMO

Like I’ve always said, I’m ok with this comparison. Trump’s the best politician of my lifetime. I wish he wasn’t a fascist but he’s still really fucking good at this.

List for me the things that make Trump a "fascist?" Hell give me 3 things that make him a fascist.

    • Universal suffrage with a lowered voting age to 18 years, and voting and electoral office eligibility for all ages 25 and up
    • Proportional representation on a regional basis;
    • Voting for women (which was then opposed by most other European nations)
    • Representation at government level of newly created national councils by economic sector
    • The abolition of the Italian Senate (at the time, the Senate, as the upper house of parliament, was by process elected by the wealthier citizens, but were in reality direct appointments by the king. It has been described as a sort of extended council of the crown)
    • The formation of a national council of experts for labor, for industry, for transportation, for the public health, for communications, etc. Selections to be made of professionals or of tradesmen with legislative powers, and elected directly to a general commission with ministerial powers.
    • The quick enactment of a law of the state that sanctions an eight-hour workday for all workers;
    • A minimum wage
    • The participation of workers' representatives in the functions of industry commissions
    • To show the same confidence in the labor unions (that prove to be technically and morally worthy) as is given to industry executives or public servants
    • Reorganization of the railways and the transport sector
    • Revision of the draft law on invalidity insurance
    • Reduction of the retirement age from 65 to 55
    • Creation of a short-service national militia with specifically defensive responsibilities
    • Armaments factories are to be nationalized
    • A peaceful but competitive foreign policy
    • A strong progressive tax on capital (envisaging a “partial expropriation” of concentrated wealth)
    • The seizure of all the possessions of the religious congregations and the abolition of all the bishoprics, which constitute an enormous liability on the Nation and on the privileges of the poor
    • Revision of all contracts for military provisions
    • The revision of all military contracts and the seizure of 85 percent of the profits therein
Or maybe I’m thinking of someone else...

    I wish she wasn't a socialist

I have no issue with how she does her job
Quite frankly, outside of her bat shit ideas, having an AOC on your side is insanely effective.

She's the lefts Trump. Nancy watch out.
Yeah, I know many of my Democrat friends and family are predicting AOC will lead the charge in pushing out the old guard of the party. Most of the younger voters were never on board with Biden.

Do they realize the cost of implementing any of her big government plans? Are they public sector workers?

They are aware and don’t care. They (rightly) point out that the GOP hasn’t been exactly the most fiscally responsible party either for quite awhile.

They are split demographics wise between education, tech, and medicine.

So they think AOC’s multi-trillion government programs funded by private sector workers are going to fix the spending problem? The Green New Deal which impacts the poor in ways they have never experienced before by skyrocketing energy costs and subsides for green energy scam cronies ala Solyndra?

I hope they lose their jobs, homes, and the public workers’ retirement goes bankrupt. Some people are too stupid to see the future.

@TheKobeStopper, will AOC primary Schumer in 2022?

I can't see him standing a chance against her and I don't see why she wouldn't run, butt curious what the feel is on that side of the fence.

I saw somewheres (HotAir maybe) an educated hypothetical where Gillibrand gets named to a Biden cabinet position, and then Cummo bumps AOC to that senate seat. Thereby, letting both Cummo and Schumer rest a little easier.

Ehhh. AOC’s main base is disgruntled young people that have their hand out for help and feel the world has fucked them over.

These people want a cultural reset. She seems kooky now to some, but as more and more of these people get to their 20’s, the bigger her base becomes.

Not saying it’s right, but there are a lot of those people in the US.

Trump has no experience relating to the common man (person) and their struggles.

AOC went to a good college and majored in international relations and economics, but was bartending just a few years ago. I don’t like her myself, but she’s here to stay. She will be right at the front as the old guard ages out.
    This is all accurate

There's also a bunch of kids going through school right now that see those that want the "reset" and are like "you're fucking crazy" ... in other words the divide is just going to continue

The real curious part of AOC to me is that with all the degrees and presence at Boston University ... why was she basically bartending? If she was as smart as she thinks she is she would have had people having no problem paying her while she gained some actual experience. Instead, she served booze and now is going to act like she knows shit?

It just brings me back to the whole adage about professors being that if they knew as much as they taught then they'd be making it in the private sector ... same thing with AOC.

AOC is backed by the Soros machine that's just a conspiracy theory. The fact is even people in their 40s and 50s who are worse off than their parents were like some of the economic populism. They just can't stomach the woke garbage.

Yes, he only spent most of his career working with blue-collar contractors and jobsite workers as he built his business. Also can’t relate to them as thousands of the common man go to his rallies and voted for him.

The “common man” certainly isn’t going to vote for AOC and her insane socialist ideas that will raise taxes.
