What happened down in Portland?

Some quality stripper steaks and some maple bars with bacon on them.
Couple those stops preceeded by some Home Depot and Bed Bath and Beyond....
You gotta pretty nice Saturday there in Ptown. -
What's with the Lowes boycott?

I think everyone that works deserves a living wage and if you can't pay your employees a living wage you shouldn't be in business.
Because it's a lot better to have no job at all than one that pays less than a "living wage". Business owners who hire people are officially the assholes and the problem. Good effort good job Seattle. -

Let's make it $125,000/hr.!!!MikeDamone said: -
I have no problem with making $15 an hour minimum wage inside city limits then let the market take over.
Either it will be proven the economy can absorb the higher rates, or the city will lose businesses who choose to leave.
I know in San Francisco it actually raised the hourly rate in neighboring counties as outlying businesses not impacted by the minimum wage had to raise their wages to keep and find employees.
Of course I am sure Big Mac's cost $11 -
Portland won't be far behind, though they'll probably try for at least $16/hr just to out pussify Seattle. There was an article in the Oregonian recently quoting business leaders bemoaning the lack of work ethic down here among younger workers. It's been said for some time that Portland is the place young people go to retire but I guess it's really true. But I'm sure they'll all work harder if the minimum wage goes up. WAY up...TierbsHsotBoobs said:Great committee as always:

Hasn't there already been a thread on this? This is a clear violation of the Multiple Thread Law, as dictated by "He Needs More Dicks up his ass".
