One thought on the new uniforms

If the UW athletic department is tens of millions of dollars in the red, why are they spending money for horrible-looking uniforms that will be used once?

If the uniforms were already paid for, then maybe that changes things. But it seems like a ridiculous waste of money given the current fiscal circumstances.

I don't think alternate uniforms are costing us anything. Adidas pays us part in cash, part in free gear. They were always going to make alternates for us as part of the deal, and its in their interest to make us 'cool'.

Bishop Gorman HS has like 500 uniform combinations, I think we can afford 3.

I tried to have a thought on them but came up blank.

I've never been able to make myself care about the uniforms. The only thing that's ever stood out to me were the white helmets. Fuckin white helmet losers.
