It's a difficult call. Both monumental records of equal import. At the end of the day, I always go with what I listen too more.

Floyd and I have always had a difficult relationship since I'm not a YUGE prog rock guy.

I'm not a prog rock guy either, really. I like a little Yes and ELP. DSOTM and the two albums after that are pretty accessible and easy on the ear compared to most prog though.

I think i have to go with Jimi anyways. They both amaze me when I'm able to hear from a fresh perspective as opposed to someone who's already listened hundreds of times. I think Experienced just amazes me a little more.

Neither one of these albums has aged a bit IMHO.

Home Doog vote taking a slim lead here. The @creepycoug Aberdeen Tuff vs Garfiled HS natty is appearing more likely.

Wait, Dark Side of the Moon beat out The Wall? Eh, whatevs...

If we were putting together a music soundtrack for the film of my life, there would be a song from “Are You Experienced?” for sure. I’ve always loved that album.

Pole closes tonight at 8 but looking like Hendrix is too far out in front.

    Rock > Prog Rock

DSOTM rises way above the Prog genre.
