I can't wait to start actively hating him. It's the only thing I'm looking forward to this season. Looking forward to seeing the new @Dardanus chart after game 1.
Kevin Thomson was third in Walter Payton voting last year, throwing for 3212 and rushing for 619. He had 39 TDs to 8 INTs.
Is that good? I have no idea where an FCS award stacks up. Nonetheless there are a lot more Dakota Prukops than Vernon Adams, so he's the former until proven otherwise.

Trace McSorley certainly torched Jimmy's D in the Fiesta Bowl (the only major game under Pete where our O outplayed our D, and by our O I mean Gaskin and Gaskin alone), is McSorley the closest comparison if Thomson maxes out his ceiling?
It’s probably not the worst comparison. McSorley has some moxie and mobility. He wasn’t very accurate when he wasn’t playing UW and he was pretty bad his senior year.

That's the primary criticism of the Oregon program right now. Even with something substantial like a rose bowl win they have to create a narrative of bullshit for recruiting purposes.
