- Trump has no idea what he is talking about with guns, like a typical rich guy from NY.

- Trump is significantly better than the alternative
- Trumps base actually pushes back on him on firearms when he missteps
- Trumps son is a firearms enthusiast and is a good 2A advocate that has his ear
- Trumps judicial appointments have been great for 2A and will help protect it long after he is gone
- A national 2nd Amendment resurgence hangs by a RBG IV tube because of Trump
Trump isn't great, he isn't even good on the topic, but he has easily been the best in my life time on the 2nd, mostly because the judges, which is pretty sad but I'll take it over the other available option...
If Trump came out in support of repealing the NFA (He probably doesnt even know what that is), or atleast deregulating suppressors, as well as the national decriminalization of personal Marijuana use he would see a massive bump from the often disaffected libertarian crowd... or they would just sit at home and whine about something else, who knows.

I like that Trump is keeping his powder dry for the stretch run. Taking ALL cannabis off the controlled substance list will be a nice gift for a few more votes. Punt that bad boy to the states and call it good.

Notwithstanding a stupid remark and policy Trumps appointments have singlehandedly restored some balance to the 9th circuit(which most of us live under). The magazine ban being overturned(which is still in appeals) was directly because of him.
Further proof he's a 90's dem imo. I don't trust him on 2A completely but I trust the Dems completely when they say they want to take our guns. -
