    Congrats budda.

Jimmy lake has to be excited about this shit. Helps the brand no doubt.

That seems excessive. Cards must be anticipating a huge reset coming in the safety market.

    Maybe.

    No ints.... But ...

    - only player with 100+ solo tackles last year
    - something like most qb pressures since he's been in the league
    - most tackles in a season in last 10 years

I'd say that's worth some money and hopefully jimmy no balls can figure out how to hitch that cart to those facts.

That budda while talented got the tackling training, polishing and system while at uw.

If Jimmy couldn’t close the DBs this year, how does this change anything?

Here come the Doogs with their sage advice, "Jimmy and Will should tell any DB considering another school they can come to Montlake and get a Budda contract." Woof! Go Dawgs!

Money talks. Bullshit runs the marathon.

It's better than being negative recruited with criscoballz saying something like "where's the money?"

Next year it will be kevin king and someone will pay that man.

Budda is too small. He doesn't have a role in the NFL.

"Where's the money" isn't an argument that works for Oregon in the DB department. Outside of Patrick Chung, what DB in the NFL can Oregon hang their name on? And he's never even made a pro bowl.

How does that stack up with what he was getting from Butch and the fellas at Bellevue HS?

Wasn't Patrick Chung on the 94 team? Seems like he's been in the NFL for 37 years

    FTG

When the player has leverage and holds out, "it's just business".

When an organization does it they're assholes.

Thats a lot. Makes me wonder how much our better younger safeties like Myles Bryant will make in 2-3 years. Close to 20 million a year?

I've always noticed most fans thinking the opposite. The players aren't in it for the team and are assholes, and they "have a contract."

That seems excessive. Cards must be anticipating a huge reset coming in the safety market.

    Maybe.

    No ints.... But ...

I'd say that's worth some money and hopefully jimmy no balls can figure out how to hitch that cart to those facts.

That budda while talented got the tackling training, polishing and system while at uw.

I love Budda, but 0 picks in three years isn’t good. Still, good for him and he is still a heck of a player.

He's like the Bizzaro Marcus Peters.

I’m honestly surprised to see this type of money being tossed around with the dip in teams income that’s going to happen. I know the tv contracts are big money for the nfl but the lack of attendance has to hit the bottom line hard.

I don’t think most feel that way. Any fan with a clue knows you can’t pay everyone and signing a bunch of guys to 2nd and 3rd contracts fucks a team over.

The Seahawks have no regret over what happened with Earl Thomas and even tho their secondary was horrible last year, it doesn’t change that.

Good thing SEA didn’t waste a pick on Budda, when its starting safeties were a combined 127 years old.
