Thank god it wasn't Susan Rice, the Benghazi stuff for the next 3 months would have been unbearable.

Wasn't Benghazi that was going to hurt Rice, it was her presence at the January 5th 2017 White House meeting with Biden where they conspired to go after Flynn, along with the uncomfortable questions that would have been raised by her CYA email on the day she left office.

It doesn't help Biden against charges that he has remained silent while his Antifa buddies burn the country because if he says Harris is tough on crime which she is, then the base stays home. Which they will anyway

Good week for Trump after some tough ones

    Many weeks to go

Maybe, but Harris is the most known candidate who appeals to moderate America. They apparently hedged that the base of which you speak isn't what will tilt the election in the 4-5 states that really matter.

It's true, though it could be more an indictment on the candidates that were available to him. Besides, there was no one he could have picked that would have made this bored say "well shit, now we're in trouble."
Susan Rice would have been a problem for Trump. Only Trump supporters care about Benghazi anymore. The middle would have accepted Rice, and the far left would have done back flips. Kamala is going to put a good portion of the far left on the sidelines.

Kamala supported the things that drove the BLM movement. This was extremely poor thinking on the Dems part. Trump does everything he can to keep the door open and it's almost like the Dems purposely close it on themselves.

That could be true, but where is the large majority of the far left? I'd imagine they exist in states that are going to go for Biden anyway.

Is it fair game to revisit Harris’ bizarre lynching bill and her ties to Jussie Smollet? Or are we? just going to pretend that never happened?

You're telling me the missing far left votes didn't matter in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin? These states, Trump won by less a percentage point. Hell, Michigan, Trump won by only 10K votes. Those three states swing to Hillary, she wins.

If there were any justice in the world Harris should pay a price for her smearing of Kavanaugh.

Well, she’s now #2 for a guy with far more credible claims against him than that ditzy broad who was afraid to fly unless it was to tropical vacations.

Another great question she should be asked at the debate.

There will never be a veep candidate at anytime in any race that makes the other side say, shit we're in trouble

Nominating Joe was all we? needed. Thank you very much

Harris at the top of the ticket would worry me. Said it a year ago. The media is already "white"washing her bad record. Quite common really. Democrat always get the benefit of the doubt and centrists like you always wonder if it is fair for the GOP to actually campaign like they want to win. Three years of calling Trump a traitor has no effect on the center. Call Harris a bed hopping whore and could be a problem

It maybe different with the younger crowd but women around my age were never too cool with women who slept their way into positions of power. Trump campaign would be fools to not exploit that.

About 10h on the list of things the far left hates about her is that her family owned slaves.

Kamala Harris’s Ancestors Owned Slaves, Her Father Says
    BRENT SCHER JUL 9, 2019 4:30 PM
Sen. Kamala Harris (D., Calif.) is the descendant of an Irishman who owned a slave plantation in Jamaica, according to her father's lengthy ancestral summary of his side of the family.

Donald Harris, a Stanford University economics professor, revealed in 2018 that his grandmother was a descendant of Hamilton Brown, the namesake of Brown's Town in northern Jamaica.

"My roots go back, within my lifetime, to my paternal grandmother Miss Chrishy (née Christiana Brown, descendant of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slave owner and founder of Brown’s Town)," he wrote in a post for Jamaica Global.

Hamilton Brown built the town's local Anglican Church, which is where Prof. Harris says his grandfather is buried. It is also where he himself was baptized and confirmed.

A research archive of Jamaican records indicate that at one point in 1817, Hamilton Brown owned scores of slaves. The majority were brought in from Africa, though he also owned many Creole slaves.

The Harris campaign has not commented on her father's claims. It did not respond to a request for comment.

A former cop and prosecutor whose family owned slaves, and who thinks Joe Biden is a sexual predator, is now Biden’s running mate. Who forced him into making this pick?

    Fucking THANK YOU.

I can’t believe there were posters here who thought Biden was picking his own nom.

    Couldn’t be me...

    I'd do it again.

I picked Harris to be the top of the ticket last year when this started

So close and yet so far..............

I'm on record having said she'd lose the primary the more people found out about her and then called her the VP pick. Same same but different now. They delayed this as long as possible to keep her from having too much time in front of America. The more they get to know her the less they are going to like her.

Moderate doesn't mean open borders, nationalized health care, defund the police, defund the military and tax and regulate the sh*t out of anything that moves.

This is a bizarre pick. Ok, she's half black. But, by any measurable she isn't very likable, sews up no electoral college win that is needed, has a TERRIBLE record on black crime (for the Dems), and would not ever be confused for someone who is a radical leftist. She is half black vagina wielding version of Biden. What am I missing? I don't see how she really brings anything to the ticket?

    Hardcore Progressive wing? Nope

Blacks? Already had that so nope and hell that might be a push because her record on locking blacks up is pretty bad (to a Dem).

Seriously, what am I missing? Warren sucks but she at least delivers the Bernie wing of lunatics. Klobuchar is a bitch but she at least delivers the Midwest, or certainly Wisconsin. Isn't that loser woman from Georgia a flame throwing progressive? I just don't understand what was gained here strategically.

This is a gift for Trump. Convince me I'm wrong. I am open to logic.

Once Biden said he would nominate a vagina with color, he had no candidates that didn't have at least equivalent problems.

I guess he boxed (lulz) himself in. No good choices between Kamala, Harris and Adams (Georgia lady??). I just don;t see what Kamala brings into the tent. Maybe they think anti-Trump hate will fuel record turnout of the BernieBros so fuck it, go with another career ladder climber?

If she is a moderate, it's in the way of Bloomberg, embodying some of the worse parts of either party, with an unceasing thirst for statism. She is an aggressively bad person.
