That the old saw about people hating things they don't understand and resenting in others what they lack in themselves applies to Democrats and Leftists and their relationship with Money. As I witness the shit-show in Seattle happening right across the bay, I'm struck by what horribly ignorant accountability-challenged retards my local politicians are when it comes to managing and not wasting money. Then it hit me: They're all democrats and hippies, which means the only money they have is from leeching, cheating or stealing from others.
Completely satisfied with my realization, I poured another drink and lit another cigar.
God I love being right all the time.

Hopefully, the Churchill that was in the last cavalry charge of the British Army. From horses and sabers to nukes. Lived an incredible life. Almost last of a breed like Teddy. Raised as an aristocrat with a warrior spirit but incredibly learned.

So the pompous Churchill, but for good reason. I'll take that.WestlinnDuck said:Hopefully, the Churchill that was in the last cavalry charge of the British Army. From horses and sabers to nukes. Incredible statesman and historical figure. Far from a perfect record.WestlinnDuck said:Hopefully, the Churchill that was in the last cavalry charge of the British Army. He was the architect of the Battle of Gallipoli in WWI. Stubborn . . . Bull-headed . . . and led to the slaughter of many Englishmen.

This error in judgment derailed his career temporarily.
