Hawks give up too much for Jamal Adams

Like I said.
This is an insane package.

Big package for sure, but their recent 1st rd track record isn’t great. No chance they get a Jamal Adams caliber talent with either of those firsts.
-
Agree with DNC that it’s too much, but you are also right considering the draft picks in the past.GayThoughts said:Big package for sure, but their recent 1st rd track record isn’t great. No chance they get a Jamal Adams caliber talent with either of those firsts.

Yeah it probably is a tad too much, I hope this means they’re going all in on Clowney too

According to this guy that ship has sailed.GayThoughts said:Yeah it probably is a tad too much, I hope this means they’re going all in on Clowney too
I'm assuming they don't have the cap space for both this year.

Yep that's the silver lining I guess.RoadDawg55 said:

I can't believe they gave up that much. McDougald is a good player on a great contract, he has some value here too. And that's a ton in draft value.
Probably makes them contenders this year, at least if they can find any sort of pass rush help. -
I would assume McDougald salary going out keeps them in the Clowney sweepstakes but I"m not really sure.

A lot to give up, but our history of drafting in the 1st round might balance that out. Also Clowney was mediocre in every game except @ SF last season, not stressing over it.

Same. In a playoff game, you’re always happy to have Clowney, but he’s mediocre and/or injured so often that paying him a lot is probably going to end badly.Gladstone said:A lot to give up, but our history of drafting in the 1st round might balance that out. I think the league realizes this and that’s why he hasn’t gotten the deal he wants. -
I just like getting all my trade anal(lulz)sis from @GayThoughts
