Toot Toot never actually got to the point of officially leaving Tennessee, it was all just rumorsdnc said:Anybody else having Toot Toot PTSD or just me?

Oh I know this is way more legit than Toot Toot ever was but that increased likelihood will only make the pain of the rug getting pulled out even greater.NEsnake12 said:

USC's version of Eklund saying in his recruiting blog that Yary had quite a few grade and off the field issues so TDWHA
To counter, I would gladly take 2 years of Colt Lyerla production before the impending heroin addiction -

Pretty sure the reason the family is in murrieta is because the schools are good. So are the football programs

Thinking of Redman and Yary in a double TE set is fucking dreamy.GreenRiverGatorz said:That's a sexy fucking tight end room we're going to have this fall. White giants everywhere.
Then Ryan Otton coming in right after. Jesus Christ.
I don’t know if I can handle Cato and the Huards pulling in Bowers. -

Could Jack Yary be headed to another Pac-12 program?
by Greg Biggins
Former Vista Murrieta (Calif.) tight end Jack Yary signed with USC in February but it now looks like he could be headed to another Pac-12 program.
Yary was one of the headliners in USC’s 2020 class. He was one of just two 247Sports four-star prospects the Trojans signed and big things were expected from the talented legacy.
His family background is well documented as his father is former USC All-American OL Ron Yary, who was also the No. 1 overall pick in the 1968 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. Yary committed in January to the Trojans over the Washington Huskies but this one looks like it could be getting interesting.
Yary never participated in any of USC’s summer voluntary workouts and we also heard he was released from his letter of intent and would not be joining the team in the fall.
We had already heard some rumors that the Huskies were involved with Yary and earlier today, he posted a picture of himself in a Washington jersey on his Instagram page that he had taken from his official visit last December.
We had heard there were some academic hurdles for Yary but he was still able to sign with USC in February. It sounds like that was at least part of the reason why the two party's decided to go their separate ways.
The latest we heard is Yary is he's now taking a summer school class and if all goes well, the path will be cleared for him to enroll at Washington in September. Yary loved his December official visit to Seattle and the Huskies pushed extremely hard for him before he committed to the Trojans. The Huskies signed two tight ends in their '20 class but wanted to take a 3rd and Yary was at the top of their board.
Yary was one of the nation's top tight end prospects last cycle and had a very good senior year. He's still relatively new to the position, his junior year was his first playing tight end but he made big strides and was bumped up to four-star status during the season.
He showed improved athleticism and pass catching skill, earning an invite to the Polynesian Bowl. He finished the year with 42 catches for 621 yards and 12 touchdowns in 10 games while battling an ankle injury for the latter half of the season.
He's a very good blocker as well and we actually liked him as a future offensive tackle following his junior season. At 6-6, 260 pound, he had a prototype tackle frame and with his natural athleticism, just oozed upside as a lineman.
He then went out and had a dominant senior year catching the ball and showed us he was indeed a legit tight end prospect. He's the kind of tight end that can be a go to guy on key 3rd downs but also stretch the field and make plays down the seam.
If Washington does indeed land Yary, he's someone we think could be a definite difference maker for them down the road.

Is he a WTE or BTE?

Prototype OT frame who can stretch the field? Sounds like a G(ronk)TE to me.BleachedAnusDawg said:Is he a WTE or BTE?

If we line up @ Michigan in 2021 in consistent 2-3 TE sets and stuff it down their throats 80/20 run:pass ratio for an opening drive TD I might actually weep. Hopefully Donovan keeps it simple because the O just needs to be competent enough, the D should handle the rest. Fuck. If we indeed Kaho'd Yary -- who is a perfect fit for what our offense has been -- I might doog for the first time in a good fucking long while.
He'll be great for Oregon. -

We have too much talent to settle for just competency.
