The Colour and the Shape - Foo FightersI know OK Computer is the correct answer but I could never stomach Thom Yorke. Basically all my favorite Foo Fighters songs are on The Colour and the Shape.

I had it in an earlier iteration of this and couldn't find that list and forgot to chinclude it. You're right, it belongs.DerekJohnson said:Modest Mouse -- Lonesome Crowded West

The Colour and the Shape - Foo FightersPreemptive PM to @GrundleStiltzkin, Fat of the Land and Dig Your Owen Hole are both superior to numerous albums on this list but I couldn't quite stretch the rock genre far enough to chinclude them. If the pole were simply top 10 albums of 1997 they'd be here.

OK Computer - RadioheadI'll go Radiohead for Karma Police (thought High & Dry was on that album, but alas no). Don't feel great about it though. Thøm Yörk is truly chinsufferable.

Big year for female artists, in my book. -
The Colour and the Shape - Foo Fighters
Surfacing definitely belonged on the list, not sure how I missed that it was 97.GrundleStiltzkin said:
