My first reaction was "why the fuck would the LP let this guy on if they knew that he was so publicly advocating for Russian interests only a year ago".
But I don't think it really matters. The Lincoln Project isn't aiming to put their own agenda forward as an organization. They simply exist to collect money and run anti-Trump ads on every outlet they can find. So I don't think they give a shit what personal baggage they come with. -
