This is the year I really begin to drop off, listening to virtually no radio, no mtv, no fun of any kind...(I got married, v.1). Heard this in a “professional setting”, (along with Santa Monica, btw), and began my chase down musical rabbit holes, searching for “the goods” to enlighten the “undereducated”...ha, ha!

    Emptiness is loneliness
    and loneliness is cleanliness
    And cleanliness is godliness
and God is empty...just like meeeeeee

I hate myself for living this record. It’s like going to a Friends viewing party while puppy was leaving semen filled Trojans all over the u-district.

I actually decided to sample each album to remind myself of songs from each besides what I remember from the radio.

I love Foo Fighters. If you put together their greatest hits in to one album (which they have done, yes) it's full of awesome songs. That said, I've never thought any of their albums was great from start to finish. Usually 3-4 great songs and a bunch of filler.

The Alice in Chains album in this poll is pretty boring. All the songs sound the same and it's very down-tempo.

Never got the appeal of Radiohead. Still don't.

Smashing Pumpkins, I can listen to them and enjoy them, but never motivated enough to actually buy an album. Corgan's voice kinda wears my ears out after a while. All that being said, this is easily the best album in this pole.

Fair. I’m good through 1996 at least on this project.

This album let me know Radiohead was more than just a catchy song. The first in a long list of complete albums that they created over the years. OK Computer, Amnesiac, Hail To the Thief and In Rainbows I can go cover to cover on. No skippies.

    I like the Pumpkins.

I also like knowing that I am one of the earliest registrants of this here shithole, so when I look at the leading vote getter and then vote for it I am going to be first! and right.

You guys have all made me feel very sad and let down. Tripod is different than the previous albums but is not worse.

    Always...

Tripod is the addict from Dirt shitting his pants and slowly dying on the floor. It's a perfect follow up to Dirt. Not pleasant to listen to so I guess it's more of an acquired taste.

Nobody's really talked about Jagged Little Pill butt that was a damn good album. Best female lead album of the 90s IMO (and the 90s had plenty of good female lead albums).

W/respect for the Cranberries, Sarah, Liz, Melissa and Leigh Nash...fuck Courtney Love.

Exile in Guyville is way better.
