The women's tournament hurts. That team makes the Championship game at a minimum. Do they beat South Carolina? We will never know. That team was UConn in their prime loaded. They had the top 2 WNBA picks and another top 10 pick.

The men weren't making the final four. That team had sweet 16 written all over it, but they weren't getting past that

Missing out on Ohio State sucks.

Overall it stinks, but Oregon football has turned the pandemic into a recruiting advantage so it's not all bad.

As far as football goes, it's a total win-win. No Ohio State ass-blasting (I'm not picking any team in the country with a new QB and 80% of the OL against Ohio State), and recruiting is booming. Good chance they'll actually hang on to most or all of that class now and more easily ride out a season of growing pains on the offensive side. It's the perfect year for Oregon to miss a season: Win the Rose Bowl, lose most of the offense but take a year off for the on-paper-better young replacements to mature.

Washington is in the exact same situation, except Michigan is no Ohio State, recruiting at the moment isn't booming, and it would seem the only thing that could save the class is to play and win. Both Oregon and Washington return good-to-great defenses and offenses with a lot of holes and new players at critical positions, but whereas Washington seemingly has nothing to lose by playing out the season, Oregon has nothing to gain.

This would be Kayvon's second year, so we? still get him next year I believe.

    Imagine caring about women's basketball.

Shit...when the Husky women were in the final four in the 15-16 season, this board was hyped as fuck. STOp

There was an entire thread dedicated to a fat chick who sank threes without jumping (not by choice, but because of gravity).
I would say the same thing then as now. Women's basketball is a joke. They don't even use a regulation sized ball.

Allow me to go on the record. Fuck all women's sports, all Olympic sports, every sport (basketball, baseball, golf, etc) except UW football. None of the other sports matter and are not real life.

It’s going to suck seeing Justin Flowe get drafted without playing a single down.
