    If Trump wins, it will be more an indictment on how shitty of a candidate Biden truly is.

    Personally, I don't think another 4 years of Trump would be good for this country simply because he's shown over the last 4 years that he's extremely divisive ... that's not me saying that I think Biden is good for the Country either because I think he's largely a puppet at this point.

    Going back to 1840, every single President elected in a year ending in 0 has either died in office (Harrison, Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, Harding, FDR, JFK) or had an assassination attempt on them (Reagan) with the exception of Dubya.

    Will the 2020 winner fall into the category of the 8 Presidents before Dubya or be the outlier like Dubya?
    The Democrats spied on the Trump campaign using a lie-filled FISA warrant, called Trump a Russian agent and spent over two years trying to find crimes while “investigating” what they knew was a lie, then impeached him over something Joe Biden is actually on both video and a phone call admitting a quid pro quo with Ukraine for a firing of a prosecutor. Yet it’s Trump who is divisive. OK, whatever. I’ll throw in Hillary Clinton calling half of Trump supporters racist, misogynistic Deplorables before the election. Such unity those Democrats have shown.

    I voted mostly Democrat for most of my life. The last 3 years have changed my mind completely. The Dems are a dumpster fire anymore. The entire party is a criminal syndicate, building and expanding upon divisiveness, racism, hate, intolerance, and incompetence. They won't be happy until the entire country is looks like Paradise, Cali after the fires, because they are POS human beings perpetrating lies and frauds to maintain their illegitimate grip on power. They are the party of ANTIFA. They are the party of Riots and Looting. They are the party of angry mobs, beating up innocent people. They are the party of skinny white girls and boys who scream "RACIST!!!" into the faces of black cops and soldiers. They are the party that burns the American Flag and cheers the toppling of statues.

    Doesn't matter ... for large portions of the country people are done with Trump regardless of what he says

    None of it works without having a controlled media to push liberal narratives. There is a recorded call where then VP Biden is on the phone with the Ukraine president literally laying out the conditions for how Ukraine would get $1 billion in aid. Fire the prosecutor (investigating his son’s company), or no money. The DNC Media never reported on it, so how would the less-political general public, who don’t follow things as close as the posters here, ever know about it?

    I don’t really pay attention to polls.

    I pay attention to what goes on around me and people that I know from around the country.

    It’s possible that Trump wins and wins big because Biden is such a bad candidate ... even worse than Hillary.

    It’s also very possible that Trump is such a bad candidate that people will vote for everybody but him.

    The extremes are polarized at this point. What nobody has a great grasp is how the middle reacts.

    I wonder when it's gonna hit HardcoreHusky that Trump 2020 is a lost cause. Republicans including Pence and McConnell are now desperately trying to reverse course and get on the right side of the mask issue. This is what McConnell said today.


    how big an admission do you need that Trump's positioning on this issue is completely untenable. Not to mention the country thought he botched the protests.

    So on the issues that people actually care about this year he's pretty much laid a goose egg. 6 months of screaming about statues and pretending like the virus is gone won't help.
