It still amazes me that supposedly "educated" individuals who love their elite college degrees have no problem debasing those degrees on a regular basis. The fact that there is no functional difference between IC and Rachel Maddow who has degrees from Stanford and Oxford should be a cause for a little introspection and reflection on what being educated actually means. It means nothing unless you learned some basic logic skills and appreciated the moral value of honesty and integrity. For a leftard, these are actually a moral hindrance. All that matters

I thought that one of the few benefits of a Republican administration would be getting tough on Russia.
When Russia invaded Ukraine all that Obama authorized were some sanctions, and made sure to send blankets and expired rations. Oh, and thoughts and prayers.
The thoughts and prayers didn't work well against T-72 tanks, advanced anti aircraft systems, a non-ending train of conscripts and supplies, GRU officers, and these lovely, battle hardened mercenary death squads from Chechnya and Ingushetia:
After Clinton got Ukraine to give up the third largest nuclear arsenal, and then Senator Obama got them to curtail weapons manufacturing and destroy stockpiles, American assurances became worthless. It's not a huge deal in itself, but the consequences are that even if Pax Americana didn't already end before that this was the final nail in the coffin.
But, surely, when Trump would be elected he would handle things like a Republican? Let the military and intelligence communities actually do their jobs. Stop letting Russia ride roughshod through international politics and land while making the US look like a bitch. The result has been... What the fuck? You have to do some real mental gymnastics to convince yourself Trump isn't at the very least pro-Russia. He makes Obama look like Ronald Reagan. I watch some Russian TV, and they can't get enough of they guy who they call наша оранжевая сука.
