What's more interesting to me is how often a guy in a tucked-in pink polo, khakis and who lives in THAT kind of house would ever really use a weapon like that. I bet he's a poacher.
“Poach” with a NATO round? What would you be shooting? You’re embarrassing yourself.

I'm surprised the crowd didn't attack they have no clue how to handle a firearm.

Some video indicating the protesters did not storm (see: walked in casually) the gated community (because it isn't one) and broke down the gate (because the ones he's pointing the gun at didn't). Did he feel threatened? Yeah probably, but he's exaggerating the timeline and actions.
Context is fun to have.

No need to be concerned because these protest are mostly peaceful. Just like the cops, a homeowner needs to wait for the first shot or the first Molotov cocktail before he really should be concerned. After all, its just a white life or property that might be at risk. The commie protestors after all are on the right side of history.

It's all fun and games until the shooting starts. It's going to start people are scared because these groups are extremely violent and they've seen the videos of them killing people. Juries to convict them of anything will be hard to find.

I agree, they shouldn't have walked up to the guy's door and him defending himself with that gun is totally within his rights. My comment was more aimed at people who were lambasting the guy's critics by implicitly believing his story of breaking down the gates and showed a broken gate without proper context when it's not what happened.NorthwestFresh said:

Multiple people of a mob threatening the couple while on their private property. This is a dumb hill to die on.MelloDawg said:https://m.riverfronttimes.com/newsblog/2020/06/29/couple-who-pointed-guns-at-protesters-release-statement-in-support-of-protesters

Just a peaceful march while taking a shortcut pointing things at people. Would you take your chances on it not being a gun, whatever it is?

A couple of things: (1) many parts of the Central West End are gated; and (2) the Central West End is not in the suburbs.
I've been there many times in the past three years. -
