This kid has proven he can work hard. He got his ass in gear and got his grades in order. I'm sure he can get in shape with the proper routine. Plus the way recruiting is going, we can't be too picky

Coach said he played around 240 last year but he put a clock on him at the beginning of the year when he was at 230 to show him how weight affects your speed. The kid ran a 4.6. That’s special no matter what as a hs junior and it mentioned how after a talk with husky coaches his sophomore year about his grades turned him around and from a 1.0 student to a 3.0-3.5 student.

A hand timed 4.6 is probably about a 4.75 or 4.8.

The issue isn’t the amount of weight though it’s the type.

Once he puts on good weight he’ll be be fine. His athleticism is well above average.

If a kid can screw his head on straight straight and get his gpa from a 1.0 to a 3.0+, that's a good sign. He can set a goal and achieve it, and that's a skill that will take him far in life.

I don't feel any need to justify the take, as mentioned by an earlier poaster. He's a good take. What's to justify?

I also went to twitter and gave him a ❤️ Very touching choice of locations. One of the few commit videos that isn't all commercialized. Only two hats, as its normally comes down to two schools anyway. Extra hats are just meant as a pissing contest. May have to root for this kid.
