I'm with the dad here... I think he is a lock to play along with Jaelen and Puka... no way does he redshirt ~
he is an explosive talent with a savage attitude which is exactly what we are looking for to move this offense
into the overdrive gear that we have been missing.

The talent in front of these guys is just not that special to keep these guys on the bench... too much upside
    with these two.

Glad to see people fighting back at their bullshit. Those dumbfucks have had a pass for 20 years.

Lol, they have? Those dumbfucks have multiple websites dedicated to their ridicule and are treated as a joke by everyone in sports media.

Maybe. The staff had some turnover obviously, but we saw over the last two years that young WR had a hard time getting on the field. I'm honestly not sure what the other criteria have been since the guys getting the most snaps and targets sucked ballz. I definitely know that upside isn't an influential factor though.

We’ll see. Fetters got into it with Osbourne’s dad about Puka seeing the field before Austin and Fetters was right.

Puka, Bynum, Spiker, Osbourne, Ty Jones, Taj Davis, Chin, and Jalen McMillan. Not a sure thing that Odunze cracks that too 5. We play TE’s too. I think he will probably play, but I’m not counting on much from him.

Dad is of course going to think his son is unbelievable, which he could be, but dad is gonna think that no matter what.

Yeah, they didn’t get on the field because of Petersen’s over-complicated/difficult to learn offense with nuanced reads, etc. as well as his insistence on the young guys proving that they knew the offense inside and out by being “detailed” in practice.

Assuming (hoping?) that the new offense will let the best athletes play.

    10.6 100m.

What better deep threat do we have than that?

I’m not sure what your point is. I just named 8 WR’s. He has to beat out 4 of them to probably make any impact. When is the last time our 5th WR was a factor?

I’m saying he has speed only matched by Jalen in that room. At the very least, they send him deep every once in a while as a threat, a la Seahawk Michael Bates.

Chin is a specialist, Jones is a pussy and if he's not he probably is only a red zone guy, Osbourne seems to play a different spot on the field. I'm not calling my shot, but Rome's physical presence at WR is matched only by Puka on the outside, imo. I think the bigger problem for any of the true freshmen is lack of time to get familiar with things due to COVID.

I love Rome. Everyone loved Spiker and Osbourne too and they have hardly seen the field. They are still here. Rome has to beat both out and Jalen to really see the field. I think he plays, but I doubt he makes a huge impact. Puka and Bynum will be the main guys and it’s guessing after that.
Yep. I think Spiker will get more looks this year and either McMillan or Odunze will work into the #4 spot. Nacua and Bynum are guaranteed the too two spots if healthy.
The odds of both of them burning RS are slim.

Jones will get plenty of snaps but not that many targets. He's #5.

That’s what I think. One of them will beat out Osbourne. It won’t be both. Not enough playing time and balls to go around for both to really contribute unless there are a couple injuries.

It's hard to get injured in isolation.

Fuck...i want to discuss the roster and season but I can't stop letting the reality creep in.

If jones gets buried on the depth chart I’ll know jimmy has ballz. This is from someone that was never a fan of ballroom dancing ass.

Not unlike Trump saying that the recent job numbers set records (😆), this WR crew will set records.

The WR room is full of big guys with good measurables who were high rated coming out of HS. They're spread over four classes. It's a loaded room. If it doesnt show it's not from lack of talent.
