The stealing of the wallet is always a nice touch and something I was completely unaware of until I moved to Los Angeles. Had a co-worker who got into an accident in downtown LA on one of the freeway off ramps. Her car was overturned and she was banged up quite a bit. Guess what. People don’t trust people of other cultures and races. It’s a flaw of human nature perhaps. But when you consistently see one race or culture being the instigator and executor of huge violence, why would you trust. At all.
