I don’t know the economic freedom index but I assume it’s disposable income related and Sweden isn’t built for that. They take high taxes and they provide high benefits. You won’t get rich there, but it’s a nice life. -

The USA has a huge population of not "white" people who do much better than whites people. Whites I the USA are not at the top of the list of people who do well economically in the USA -
You can socially segregate and still give opportunity. If you are there for legitimate reasons, school and healthcare is free. I had a Kenyan friend who was getting paid to get his masters in finance.
However swedish families probably don’t want their kids dating him. -
