Why shouldn't a Republican President hold a Juneteenth Rally?

The GOP is the political party that was created to end slavery. Why not have a rally on Juneteenth and celebrate that fact?

Yes, I'm sure Trump supporters just can't wait to celebrate the end of slavery

Do you find it ironic that the "Party of Lincoln" is crying over the removal of Confederate monuments and names? Why does your party now support traitorous racists?

    INFIDEL!!!!

    AAARRGGH! MEAN ORANGE MAN!!

You think maybe the message will be "hey - the GOP freed the slaves.....you've had 50 years of blindly following the Dems...how ya doin' with that choice? Come back home."

Oh....and all those military bases named after Confederate generals that you want re-branded....yeah, that was Wilson and FDR who put the names in place....

Nobody should hold up the dems as the beacon of freedom and civil rights, but this attempt to rebrand the GOP as the true saviors of the black man and destroyers of racism is hilariously inept. But keep beating that drum, at least you have Candace Owens on board.

Agreed. Though no problem with the little perkies. Nipple sensitivity generally greater/harder.

Serious question (lol), do the GOP strategists think this is a persuasive argument that'll win over voters, or is this just another tactic to send libs into a frenzy and laugh at their overreaction?

What you don't seem to get is that it doesn't need to be persuasive. It only needs to highlight the absurd idea that the Dems are the arbiter's of moral correctness.

Trump doesn't need to convert people to win. He just has to keep people home because they realize the Dems are full of shit too.

Democrats pulling down statues of Democrats and blaming the GOP for it is peak 2020. Democrats do nothing for blacks except for every 4 years when we get racism claims yet again. It really is pathetic.

Joe Biden owns the Blacks and that is that. No GOP is going to do anything. Even though we have Joe on tape being racist as fuck and no such tapes exist about Trump we just KNOW he's a racist because mental midgets say so.

Trump is the President of the United States. United fucktards. If he wants to do a Juneteenth rally then fuck off if you don't like it

I remember when GOP presidents were ripped for not attending the National Colored Folks conventions.

Thats why you don't listen to morons like @insinceredawg

I don't believe for one second that Donald Trump knows anything about the Black Wall Street Massacre. I lived in Tulsa for years and I didn't even know about it until last year. It's highly underreported.

Juneteenth he might maybe know about.

But the reality is it's hard to find a city who doesn't have some major racist incident in it's past. It's not like he's holding a rally in a city that is only known for it's violation of civil rights like Money, MS.

Unlike lefty commies we don't erase the past we learn from it.

I lived in Tulsa or the area or two years back in the 70's. I had heard of it before last year but not when I was there

Honest querey, how did you learn of it? I happened to catch a conversation about it on Twitter. Ashamed I was ignorant of it for so long, especially given my love for the city.
