If you read the book the movie may not be good. Almost 900 pages in paperback and I don't have enough years to go the book route so the move for me was outstanding. 2.5 hours and it does not drag. I didn't even know it was a book (one of my wives did of course) we just clicked on it and went for it. Glad we did.
