Is going up by $160 a month to pay for school’s my kids can’t attend, while my city gets looted. Cunts, cunts, cunts. Mother fucking cunts.

    That raise is taxes is from the fast one the teachers union pulled. “The state must Fully fund education!” So the state created a state school tax and capped the local levy. There was a transition year where the new tax and the old levy rates were both in affect. The teachers went after the money for raises like dogs on a bone. 20-30% raises went out. The next year the levy rates where capped and schools were SHOCKED to find out they had budget shortfalls in the millions. So the state did the right thing this year and raised the levy lid. I give it to more years before the lid is gone, it of course the statewide tax stays.

    Now teachers are getting paid to pretend work.
