If Sterling didn't have a history of disgusting discrimination he would have that opportunity. But he does. This is a lifetime achievement banning. It's not about a single tape.MikeDamone said:
So if Sterling apologizes and then supports magic Johnson, he should be forgiven?allpurpleallgold said:
How are they soft on homophobia? Hibbert saying "no homo" is not equal to a consistent pattern of racist words and actions. Hibbert was fined. Hardaway was removed from some NBA related events that were scheduled and has since apologized and come out in support of Jason Collins. But don't let actual facts get in the way.MikeDamone said:
Right wing? Good Christ. Pull you're head out your ass.allpurpleallgold said:What right wing talking point are you trying to make now?
Why is the NBA soft on homophobia and TUFF on racism is the question. -
Of course it's about a single tape made public. Without the single tape, the nation is not outraged and this has no legs. People in the NBA seemed to have known about it for years and they didn't do a thing until it went public and they were forced to. The didn't do shit until it threatened their image and pocket book. It's all theater.allpurpleallgold said:

If the girl friend would have taken the tape privately to Silver rather than TMZ we wouldn't be having this conversation. Simple fact. -
