Why We Won't Defend a Legitimate National Interest in Europe

Damone and I disagree on almost everything. But he has a point when he complains that the US is too lily-livered to do anything in the face of the first territorial aggression in Europe since Yugoslavia in the early 90's.
The bitch of it is, we've wasted thousands of lives and billions of dollars in Iraq and Afghanistan - wars that were won on the battlefield but lost due to strategic failure (they were fucking pointless).
