Fallon should tell everyone who is outraged to go fuck themselves.

He's impersonating his fucking friend. Who I'm sure thought it was funny. JFC.

Apologizing for something he did 20 years ago that no one cared about then, but people care about now so he can keep his job. Did he rape someone? Stick his fingers up someone’s twat? Shoot and kill someone? Proposition sex for career advancements? No? Fuck off then. Jesus.

Dave Chapelle and Eddie Murphy both did white face. It’s comedy. FYFMFE

I just remembered that the Wayan's brothers did an entire movie in white girl face and now I'm outraged that I wasn't outraged in 2004 when it came out.

Resurfaced clips from 20 years ago. It’s like people forgot. God damn outrage of the century of the week of the day if you ask me. Fuck you Jimmy, I thought you was funny! :( <============== sadface

Fred Armistan is kind of racially ambiguous but I'm sure lesbian bookstore owners have an axe to grind with him.

There's obviously an important historical context here that shows why these two things are different.

Not saying that anyone should give a shit or be outraged by this particular story, or most blackface "scandals" period, so don't twist.

By 2000 blackface hadn't been cool in years. More of a SNL issue IMO

What I’ve found out in recent years is that white liberals seem to enjoy blackface. Gov. Northam, Jimmy Kimmel, Sarah Silverman, Justin Trudeau, Joy Behar, Jimmy Fallon, VA AG Mark Hering, Lady Gaga. I’ve never seen anyone live in blackface my entire life. I must be hanging with the wrong people.

He typically keeps his politics to himself. I’ll give him that credit.

He isn't Seth Meyers (who probably is responsible for getting Trump to run for president) but he has been sucking off Fow Chee with enthusiasm and loves himself some Cuomo.

He used to be good. So was Colbert as a fake Conservative, maybe the best of the time. Kimmel started out great but faded even before Trump killed them all.

I’ve never been into Colbert at all. Roasting George Bush was kind of funny, but I never really liked his humor.

Kimmel is okay. He’s gotten a little Hollywood weirdo, but he’s gotten good at his job. I wonder if he will have to apologize next for impersonating Karl Malone in black face.

Fallon is cookie cutter. Funny at times, but too cookie cutter for me. See this apology.

Corden is awful. One trick pony with the carpool karaoke.

    NOGAF about Meyers.

I like carpool karaoke. Some of the guests are genuinely funny people.

The rest of these late night 'comedians' can suck my dick. Generally not funny and all they do is take shots at Trump. Not even close to the must-see TV era of Johnny Carson and the original Letterman show.

Making fun of Presidents is funny. But doing it more than 23 times gets tiring.

Letterman and Carson were products of their era. Nothing special about late night shows nowadays. IMO, they are staples that we could do without. They aren’t important anymore.

Back then, it was a chance to see the stars up close and see comedians or other entertainers you were not familiar with. Now with social media, TMZ, etc, you can get your fill of them without the late night shows.
