Sardines
I can’t tell you how many smoked oysters I’ve eaten around a campfire. Puts lead in your pencil too.PurpleThrobber said:
Another reason Portugal > Spain. There are sardine shops everywhere in downtown Lisbon. Or Lisboa as the native Portuguese pronounce it.YellowSnow said:

IFL love Sardines. Always have since I was a lil Yella. Back when my summer jerb was painting wooden bleacher of Husky Stadium, some of the track guysm and myself would run up to QFC for sardines, saltines and tall Bud Heavy cans and that was lunch.

But I still like canned smoked oysters better. -
Sardines@dflea response here will chintrigue me. Canned shromps suck.

I will never concede this point. Though I have more travel to do in bofe, Spain took it for me hands down. More shit to see and I found nothing approaching Seville and some other smaller Spanish cities in Portugal.PurpleThrobber said:

That said, Italy is still hands down my favorite Euro country and it's not close. The south of France is very fucking nice too. -

They’re all greasy, oily hair countries @creepycoug yearning to come defile this good clean country.creepycoug said:

SardinesI like a can of sardines and some crackers. It's a regular on my breakfast menu. In light oil is good, in mustard sauce or tomato and basil sauce is better. In Louisiana hot sauce is my favorite.
Canned tuna, oysters, and kipper snacks are all things that wind up in the cabinet and eventually in my belly. 'choves only in the form of anchovy paste because you can't make a Caesar salad without it, and it makes a good salty flavor in lots of sauces and dressing.
Canned salmon depends on who canned it. I eat a bunch of different friends' canned salmon, but not store bought. Canned upriver bright chinook is one of the most fantastic things ever. The oil seeps out of it, and you wind up with fish floating in artery-protecting orange-tinted super oil. Break off a chunk of fish, let it soak in the oil a second, put it on a cracker, and prepare to be overwhelmed by its goodness.
My granny used to insist on everyone eating a piece of pickled herring on New Year's eve for good luck. I try to remember, but this year I forgot - and then covid 19 showed up and reminded me not to be a fuck up next NYE and eat my pickled herring. Sorry guysm.

SardinesGotta go with sardines in this line up. With hot green chilies or hot sauce for me with a small bag of saltines. Ate a many can of them on the deer stand back in the day running hounds.
