So, if we’re all going to be outraged, let’s be outraged that we weren’t more outraged when his racism was first evident. Let’s be outraged that private conversations between people in an intimate relationship are recorded and publicly played. Let’s be outraged that whoever did the betraying will probably get a book deal, a sitcom, trade recipes with Hoda and Kathie Lee, and soon appear on Celebrity Apprentice and Dancing with the Stars.

Sterling is obviously a piece of shit but the girlfriend is just as awful. She is doing this to promote herself. She will have a reality TV show by this time next year.

Sterling is a scumbag but this was a private conversation. If we listened to all the private convos of every NBA owner in the league I gurantee you could find some racist/sexist shit out of a lot of them.
But yea what is disturbing is that this isn't anything new with Sterling. Yet for some reason it is much more of an outrage in 2014 than it was in 2009 or 2006.

What an event basically continues to confirm is that there's nothing "private" anymore in today's social media age ... particularly so if you have a name that is in the public eye.

The fact that he doesn't appear to be fighting this too hard means that he should be relatively at peace with the decision.
Bottom line is that he'll profit about a billion dollars out of this and be able to go retire to some kind of private island or something like that. -

No matter how misguided it is, Sterling is entitled in our society to have the beliefs he does ... and so does Stephen A.
Now whether anybody agrees or even listens to them is another story.
