Hell yes. People get sick and die at games all the time. Let them comeWhatever the rule might be, attendance in the P12 will be shit.

That's a choice they should have. The tweet you had from Bama SCREAMING that TEN new cases were at Bryant Denny with no context is a big part of the problemGrundleStiltzkin said:Whatever the rule might be, attendance in the P12 will be shit.

Hell yes. People get sick and die at games all the time. Let them comeI don't think a lot of fans will come even if allowed. So open it up.
-
Stanford and UCLA don't see an issue with limiting fans at games.
-
Science you asshole - no fansAs long as they play the games I don’t care. But this is my prediction.
-
Science you asshole - no fansLittle skin in the game since I haven't had season tickets since 2014, but if fan participation is the sticking point on whether the games happen, then leave 'em empty. IDGAF how the games are played as long as the games are played and I get to watch in some fashion.
Offer good for one season only.
Also, if Oregon starts 1-2, they can cancel the season. -
It's a flawed question. I think some places will have fans and some will not. If we are specifically talking about Pac 12 games, then there won't be fans at the start of the season. But the SEC and Big 10 will probably have fans. I'm as close to 100% sure as I can be with the SEC. That's a free money bet, that their stadiums will be packed.
You would like there to be uniformity, but some states will not allow fans, and Emmert is too much of a pussy to force all FBS schools to not have fans. -
At this point I think most in the sports world just want to make sure the games are going to be played, which is why they’re saying “sure we’ll play without fans” when asked.
Get the games on the calendar first, then worry about the debate over fans vs. no fans. Making games with fans a package deal will just give the Inslee’s and Newsom’s more political ammo to say no -
Hell yes. People get sick and die at games all the time. Let them comeI think there is pent up demand and people not all that scared based on science or their own two eyes
I'm out and about interacting with people because construction is a vital industry and in the real world its not like the internet -

Science you asshole - no fansIt's almost better for the Pac-12 to outright ban fans instead of having half-full stadiums that once again proclaim to the world how shitty our fan support is.

Hell yes. People get sick and die at games all the time. Let them comeNot what I expected, quite honestly.

Hell yes. People get sick and die at games all the time. Let them comeLike I said on the front page the other day. No half measures. Either play the games with fans or no football.
-
Either choice is bad for the Pac 12. We turn into the Mountain West Conference as far a relevance. A year of lost football revenue will decimate non-revenue sports. It will almost be worth hearing the women's teams scream as they are eliminated or turned into regional sports.

There's no fans at the Lingerie Bowl or the Puppy Bowl before the Super Bowls and those are quite entertaining.YellowSnow said:Like I said on the front page the other day. No half measures. Either play the games with fans or no football.

Pac12 won’t be the only conference with reduced fans -

Reduced by rule, vs fear.NEsnake12 said:

If someone’s not dying on or around the Gridiron, ya ain’t doing it right. -
Hell yes. People get sick and die at games all the time. Let them comeNo fans...no Damone. I won’t watch or care.
And I will request a full refund of my donation and tickets costs -
Like I said I'm surprised about the passivity of our government employees and school system employees as they think they are getting a free temporary vacation. Lots of future permanent layoffs and salary cuts coming. I'm ditto on pursuing the refunds if I can't watch from my seat. Then I'm out. Might buy an occasional game ticket, but would be done with donations and season tickets.

Those will go to the biggest donors and produce the least volume.NEsnake12 said:

Hell yes. People get sick and die at games all the time. Let them comePAC -12 should get out in front of this and announce an 11 game PAC 12 only schedule WITH fans, phased in with benchmarks, with games starting August 1st before flu-season starts up again
Put a camera at Every pac-12 camp and feature Daily camp updates throughout July. -

As the dad of a daughter trying to get a soccer offer from a D1 school this is what worries me. Even the SEC schools that had been recruiting her have gone quiet because they have no idea what their budget will look like for 2021. Kate Brown wants to shut down large gatherings- the dominoes will fall a long way on that one.WestlinnDuck said:Either choice is bad for the Pac 12.
