Another 1% tax for the wife and me gets pissed away and lost in layers of government. Bye bye soon, shitheads.

The PERS program is so healthy, it makes sense to spend a quarter b on career fairs for the unemployable.
-
Taxing the homeless is a Good idea.
-
I would enjoy being a fly on the wall while some career social worker with a social justice boner tries to give resume and interview tips to a homeless heroine addict.

The tyranny of the majority...who want pay the tax.

I'm quite certain the leftists would tax the business owners based on the volume of feces left on the sidewalks in front of their establishment if given half a chance.doogie said:Taxing the homeless is a Good idea.
Because, clearly, it's the business owners fault the homeless are so oppressed by not providing them employment. It's only right the oppressors pay for the services need to clean up the poopy sidewalks.

Was supposed to go to the homeless. Watch as broke ass government steals it for their employees. More taxes = nothing changes or gets worse.

I have all the screen shots I need to check back in two years and see if homelessness is improved, the same, or worse.... we all already know the answer.

This will allow Portland to hire social and health care workers and give them amazing benefits, pension plans, and Nike store passes.
A win for everyone except the people paying for it, and probably the homeless. -
They will definitely need $140k salary so they can live in NW Portland and study the plight of their subjects while enjoying lattes at barista.ramenduck said:This will allow Portland to hire social and health care workers and give them amazing benefits, pension plans, and Nike store passes.
