But, it's more than likely genuine. Since he's the "new" offensive coordinator, he hasn't had much of a chance to see any of these quarterbacks in action. You could show up on the practice field for a walk on try out and have the same odds at this point. -

I was in my car and listened to the interview.
I've been one of the guys who is waiting to see the evidence before crucifying the Donovan hire. I will say though, the guy sounds completely indifferent to the job hes been hired to do. When asked about specific players, his response was" well, gosh, you guys probably no more about these guys than I do." Also, from the interview it sounded like the Garbers comments were more a result of him not knowing how many QBs were on the team. He said "uhh..yeah...uh... both those guys can spin it". Then Softy mentioned Garbers coming in and he corrected himself by saying Garbers could also be a starter. At least that was my take -
An uninspiring group of quarterbacks led by an uninspiring coach. This should be special.
