Nip calls out FSP

Good.

It’s a decent point, but these players are training all day. I doubt the UW staff has the time or desire to do that.

Daaaaaamn

I don't know shit about the interim training period between college and NFL. What's the industry standard here? Do most NFL prospects continue training with their school, or do they go the private route?
-
Most go private. Combine camps and training are big business. A lot of times, the agents will send and pay for their players to attended certain ones.GreenRiverGatorz said:I don't know shit about the interim training period between college and NFL. So then the story is that FSP just sucks and doesn't hold a candle to the most established outfits.RoadDawg55 said:

FSP is not the problem lol. Nearly every UW player drafted in the last 5 years has done shit there
Adams and Bryant had injuries derail them. Hunter should've been redshirted and was always an awkward NFL prospect. Sample was crazy underutilized, blocked well, tested well, 2nd rounder. Hunter was an oversized receiver that tested badly.
Salvon didnt go from 4.3 in highschool to 4.6 3 years later due to FSP offseason training.
Our staff probably wanted him to gain weight to try and be an RB1 and it just never happened. -
Salvon has run 4.4-4.3 at the husky combine the last two years. Those times might be slightly favorable, but they aren't usually that far off. He was not a 4.6 guy at UWPostGameOrangeSlices said:FSP is not the problem lol. Nearly every UW player drafted in the last 5 years has done shit there

Yeah a 4.6 guy can’t leave the entire USC defense in the dust on an 80+ yard run. I don’t get what happened. His 40 time was his golden ticket. Once that got fucked up, he was cooked. If he ran in the 4.2s, guarantee the Raiders or some other stupid GM would have reached for him.Neighbor2972 said:

BBK did pretty good in every category. McGary trained there and did well too. Both trained at FSP. Other than Ahmed’s crash, FSP didn’t really do anything bad. Ahmed has been training at FSP since high school.PostGameOrangeSlices said:FSP is not the problem lol. Nearly every UW player drafted in the last 5 years has done shit there
